When the school closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic were first announced in mid-March, one of the first consequences for the Holy Innocents School community was the indefinite postponement of our annual raffle which was originally scheduled for March 26. As the second largest fundraiser of the year for our humble school, this was a cause for significant concern. Thankfully, we have weathered the pandemic safely, both in terms of the physical health of our school community and, thanks to the loyalty of our families and support of our benefactors, in terms of our financial health as well. Thus, it was in a spirit of thanksgiving for past blessings as well as hope and strength for the future that we decided to reschedule the raffle to Wednesday, July 1. We hope and pray that, with your help, we can take what seemed like a sure and signifiant setback and emerge stronger than ever, heading into the 2020-2021 school year on stronger footing than ever before.
